The Continual Recovery through Education and Skills Training (CREST) Programme

CREST is a group programme run by professional counsellors to help you to:

  • Understand the process of addiction
  • Understand triggers and cravings
  • Learn how to avoid relapses
  • Learn how to manage difficult feelings better
  • Learn about how 12 steps can help in your recovery

CREST caters to all types of addictions. Those who have attended found it useful in helping them to understand their addictions, and learn new skills to better manage their problems.

CREST is conducted on the following days –

Tuesdays, 7.00 - 8.30 pm, NAMS Specialist Outpatient Clinic C (Block 9, Basement)
Thursdays, 7.00 – 9.00 pm, NAMS Specialist Outpatient Clinic C (Block 9, Basement)

There is a series of 10 topics spanning 10 weeks. The topics will be repeated at the end of the series. CREST is ongoing, and can be attended by all CAMP patients. Family members and loved ones are encouraged to attend the family programme, FRESH (Families in Recovery Thru’ Education, Support & Hope).

As recovery is a life-long process, continual participation in CREST is encouraged.

For further enquiries, please email nams@imh.com.sg or call the addiction helpline at 6-RECOVER (6732 6837).
